Qualifications and Memberships

Dr Shobana Krishnamoorthy is a highly experienced General Practitioner with over 20 years in medicine and a strong interest in Lifestyle Medicine and preventative healthcare.

She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Melbourne in 2003 before relocating to Perth to continue her clinical training. During this time, she obtained a Diploma of Child Health at Princess Margaret Hospital and a Diploma of Women’s Health at King Edward Memorial Hospital. In 2010, she achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Through her years in clinical practice, Dr Shobana developed a deep appreciation for the role lifestyle factors play in long-term health and disease prevention. This led her to further training in Lifestyle Medicine, and she is currently undertaking the Accreditation in Lifestyle Medicine (AALM) with the aim of completing Fellowship of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (FASLM).

Dr Shobana brings a compassionate, patient-centred approach to care, supporting patients to improve their healthspan and quality of life through practical and sustainable lifestyle strategies.

Dr Shobana enjoys working within an integrative healthcare model, combining evidence-based conventional medicine with lifestyle and preventative strategies to support optimal health outcomes.
