Cognitive Decline and Alzheimer’s Disease – An Individualised Approach

Date: Wednesday 10th April
Time: 7:30 pm
Presenter: Jan Purser

In this seminar Jan, who is trained in the Bredesen ReCODE Protocol, will present a new approach to looking at the prevention, assessment and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, and how natural medicine can help. Whilst it has previously been thought that there is very little that can be done to slow or prevent the onset of Alzheimer’s disease, new research is showing that in addition to genetics, Alzheimer’s disease often involves a series of contributing drivers including inflammation, trauma, insulin resistance, hormonal dysfunction, nutritional deficiencies, toxicity and vascular issues. Investigating what contributing factors are playing a role and addressing them provides new strategies for better outcomes of this disease.
